Blizzard gets $6 million
Can you smell that snif snif snif ahhhhhhhhh nothing like that new blog smell!
you might be asking yourself who the hell is Blizzard. Well blizzard is the creator of the greatest MMORPG (massively multyplayer online role playing game) game to ever be made World of Warcraft also known as WOW, a game which I'm addicted too.
The $6 million is part of a deal by Blizzard and MDY industries , the maker of the WOWglider software. In July Us District Court Judge David Campbell ruled that the MMOglider, as the software is now known, broke the terms of the license that players agree to when they play world of warcraft.
WOWglider or MMOglider basically lets you cheat. Instead of playing everyday for a couple hours (as i try to do), doing quest and killing everything in site in order to level up your character , the software lets you put your character in automatic and it will do everything on its own. Personally i think everyone who uses he software to level up should have their accounts banned. why????......because i bust my ass for months leveling.
